Urology EM and Surgery Pro-Fee Coding Specialist (w) GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, is seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for excellence as a UROLOGY coder for a large multi-specialty client.ย Performs daily activities related to coding and charge submission of abstract Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) professional fee coding and billing. Analyzing the medical record to assign International Classification of Diseases (ICD), CPT and/or Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes to ensure correct code assignment and optimal reimbursement in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- This is a W2 position for a long-term project
- Current CPC, CCS, or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required –
- Experience utilizing an EMR system needed, EPIC is preferred
- Must have at least three years of active urology IP and OP E/M and procedure coding experience AND 3 years Urology Surgical experience.
- Must be able to maintain a 95% accuracy rate – Inpatient and outpatient E/M pro-fee coding experience is required

Responsibilities :
This position will provide high quality E/M, procedure and surgical coding. Coder will be responsible for reviewing charts and identifying appropriate ICD-10 codes. Work will be completed virtually and must be of high quality.
