Society in which GeBBS operates forms an integral part of its ecosystem. GeBBS Foundation was set up with an idea to serve the community and meet its corporate social responsibility. GeBBS focuses on women health and underprivileged children education. There are various initiatives and programs that are designed in which our employees also participate whole heartedly and meet their ISR goals. We have a very strong policy and governance mechanism in place to ensure the funds are invested for the right purpose and benefits are passed on to those who are deserving.

Eliminating the taboos and shame surrounding gender dynamics is crucial for the progress of our society. In rural and remote regions of India, raising awareness about the issues adolescents face, along with the importance of social safety, becomes even more essential. This session, led by a dynamic expert, facilitated discussions on critical topics such as building healthy relationships, recognizing inappropriate behavior, and preventing exploitation and abuse. The session was met with a positive response, effectively addressing the challenges of our modern and technologically advanced society.

We have also introduced Livelihood as one of our Focus Theme of GeBBS’ CSR domains. Livelihood programs will go beyond traditional charitable efforts by focusing on long-term solutions that empower individuals and communities to support themselves. We launched a training program dedicated to Allied Ophthalmic Personnels (AOPs). Early detection, referral, treatment, and rehabilitation are crucial for effectively addressing blind conditions, especially in regions where ophthalmologists are scarce, the role of allied ophthalmic personnel becomes essential. This program aims to develop a skilled cadre of AOPs to bridge the gaps in accessibility and availability of eye care services.
