GeBBS Healthcare Solutions announced the addition of two healthcare professionals, Jerry Jorgensen, RHIA, CCS and Cara Friederich, CPC, CPC-I, COC, AAPC Approved ICD-10 Instructor, to its Health Information Management Solutions division. Jorgensen has joined as Vice President of Operations, Coding & HIM Solutions and Friederich as Director, Professional Coding & Audit Services. Together they offer over four decades of experience working with hospitals and healthcare organizations, further strengthening GeBBSโ position as a leading provider of Health Information Management coding, audit and service solutions.
Jorgensen brings over 20 years of coding and HIM experience to GeBBS, including most recently as Vice President of Operations for Eclat Health Solutions. Prior to that, he served as Director of Operations/Privacy Officer for Medical Audit Resources Services, Inc., President of Healthcare Coding Solutions, and has played key HIM roles at Orlando Regional Healthcare and Health First.
Friederich has spent over two decades in professional fee coding, audit and education. An AAPC-approved ICD-10 trainer, she was most recently Director, Professional Coding Services โ Audit at Altegra Health (formerly The Coding Source and Sinaiko Healthcare Consulting).
